Is the shadow symbol in the last book merely the character's repressed conscience, or is it a philosophical blow dealt by the author to the moral hypocrisy of society? Could individual madness actually be the most honest reaction to the inability to adapt to a sick society? #TheBookVerse
I'm comparing myself to the main character of the current book, and his initial 'I know it all' attitude reminds me so much of my own youth. But for the character to shed that tough shell, accept his mistakes, and grow... That transformation was the part that impacted me the most, much like how I, too, gradually shed some of my own prejudices over time.
I just reorganized my bookshelf by color. It looks great!
